Backroad AS develops innovative ventures in Norway and globally.

As a forward-thinking parent company, we identify and develop unique business opportunities across creative sectors. Our portfolio includes photography products and services including fine art, digital images, adventure photo shoots, and photo restoration.

We develop software as a service (SaaS) applications focused on a perfect user experience position ourselves in emerging niches and markets. We specialize in privacy and accessibility including GDPR and WCAG guidelines, and provide consulting and remediation solutions. We design websites and mobile applications utilizing WordPress, LAMP stack, and no-code frameworks.

We also provide consulting and development for digital learning products and services including e-learning courses, learning management systems (LMS), and training program design, with next generation learning technologies including 3D, AR/VR, and other immersive learning technologies and scenarios.
